reference manager

Hi all,

A note:

Recently I met a scientist using LibreOffice. Enthusiastic about the
program. She mentioned that for here work Mendely is perfect.
So since the question arises now and then, just mentioning here.

Zotero (https://www.zotero.org/) also works very well with LibreOffice
and it is free/libre and open-source, which Mendeley is not.

Hi Robert,

Zotero (https://www.zotero.org/) also works very well with LibreOffice
and it is free/libre and open-source, which Mendeley is not.

Thanks, I know. However I've no experience with both, so just echo the
positive sound I heard

greetings,
Cor

Hi Cor,
I have been a Zotero user for many years, but your post peeked my
interest.
https://www.library.yorku.ca/web/research-learn/citations/zotero-vs-mendeley-comparison/
was one of the comparisons my search uncovered. Unless there is some
specialised niche feature I have overlooked they seem to offer very
similar features.
