Dear all, I tried writing Bengali in Libreoffice with Avro Keyboard but
without any success. To my surprise, OpenOffice is working fine. Small
rectangular box is appearing whenever I am typing. Any help is appreciated.

Could be an OpenGL rendering issue. Have a look at Tools -> Options ->
View: "User OpenGL for all rendering (on restart)" and uncheck if enabled,
and restart LibreOffice.

We'd need more detail about your OS, Desktop and build of LibreOffice to
tell more.

What's your LibreOffice version? Win? Linux?
I tried some time ago writing sanskrit (don't remember the version I used, but I was with Debian) and it worked ok... no problem at all...

Screenshot2 looks like the font is not capable to display the characters you are writting.

Sorry for my late reply.
I tried your configuration and used the kalpurush font downloaded from this website:

https://www.omicronlab.com/bangla-fonts.html

It works ok for me, but I didn't use any avro keyboard, just the normal bengali keyboard that comes with win7 pro.
