Ergo (latin for "so") we will never have a 3.4.x better translated version!!! I dislike it!!!
This is because 3.4.5 is the last 3.4.x release (!!!) as you could verify here:
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan#3.4_release
If I were you (!), I would have decided to integrate these last and better (3.4.x) translation files and use the already planned 3.4.5-RC2 (that will be the last 3.4.5 public build and moreover the last 3.4.x public build too and at all!!!) to fix always possible translation troubles.

This is also to give a thank (!!!) to all people that have spent their time to improve them ("the translations"), isn't it? So that they don't feel themselves unuseful or that you (we!) have made fun (or a fool) of them!
Italian poet Gabriele D'Annunzio wrote in his famous house (The "Vittoriale") in latin tongue: "memento audere semper" that is "[Always] remember to try" or, if you want something different, "[Always] remember to give a chance to something or someone"!!!

However I know that stability is the "must have" for that release and that all efforts have to be put asap on 3.5.0 release, but Community have to be respected and gratified seriously, of course.
Keep attention not to make such a wrong step...
Have a nice eventing,
Carlo
