REMINDER: Release 3.6.0-alpha1 from master

Hi,

we are one week from the feature freeze for 3.6 release. We are going
to provide 3.6.0-alpha1 build from master this week. I would like to do
the tag tomorrow.

The main purpose of the alpha1 build is to check that we are ready for
beta1 build. We will provide all language build, with release
configuration, for all supported platforms. We need to check that it is
basically usable, so we will announce it on the qa, l10n, and
developers mailing lists.

IMPORTANT: Please, do NOT announce this build widely. We do not want to
spread baby diseases to the whole world. We will not even put it on
mirrors. :slight_smile:

I'm only seeing 3.5 in Pootle - have I missed something?

I am also going to write up the "3.6.0 Features" page on the international website as soon as I get the OK from the devs that the features wiki page is frozen.

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean. Does that mean we have to maintain something else now too, apart from Pootle? What feature list and what should I "update", I have nothing to start with :wink:

I'll wait with the tag one more day. master build is quite broken after
merging the many changes over night. It would be great to have them
included in alpha1. We do not push on mirrors, so we are slightly less
pressed.
