Dear localizers,

There is one new string in svtools/source/misc.po, please check it in
Pootle. (Update in Pootle is in progress).

Thanks,

Hi,

here is Slovenian sdf for 3.6:
http://ooo.siccla.net/gsi/libreoffice/3.6.0/GSI_sl.sdf.gz

It contains update to RC1 plus some changed translations. Hope there
is no new strings in RC2.

Thanks,
m.

The «Vintage» template in Impress is listed as «VIntage» in the Norwegian
translation, the Norwegian translation is «Årgang».

Same for Slovenian.
Maybe that "I" instead of "i" in the English string is the culprit.

Astron fixed it in master, and I cherry picked it to 3-6 branch. It will
be in 3.6.0 rc2

Hi All,

maybe this is a silly question: I noticed that in Options dialog
introduction text for the leading pages (LIbreOffice, Load/Save,
Linguistic, and so on) is not present anymore.

(I didn't read the new features for 3.6, so maybe I missed something.)

Is it normal or a bug to be solved?

Ciao

I remember that someone wanted to kill them. Maybe the time has come.

I don't think I know someone who actually read these blablabla.

Then perhaps the toplevel tree entries shouldn't be selectable anymore
and clicking on them should move the selection to (and display) the
first corresponding subitem.

It is totally silly, if you change to some other group of seting by
only clicking the title of the group - the same tab stays open even
though it is from the older set of settings which might make you think
you are changing settings for another program - i.e. Writer-View vs.
Web/Writer-View (first you are on the Write-View subpage, then you
click the Web/Writer title in the left pane and you might think that
View of Web/Writer is opened while in fact it is still the Writer-View
subpage; you make changes and think they will affect the Web/Writer
settings whereas they affect the Writer behavious, same goes for Base
etc.

Another not-well-thought-about solo action in the GUI department.

The developer wanted to change the behaviour so that selecting a group would immediately open and show the first sub-page. However the key board navigation was broken with that. Since there was no time to fixt that (at that time), he reverted the patch. Apparently not completely..

So, apparently, it was necessary to discuss this harshly in this
unrelated mailing list. There was a bug soliciting the removal of
these unhelpful pages and I agreed with that request. And I don't
think that the Options dialog is broken because top-level entries can
be selected. That is normal behavior, I've seen it in many other
applications. But if you want to discuss it, please go to other list
such as Design.

I thought there was even an EasyHack for this somewhere, but now I
cannot find it - does anybody recall if it was there?

All the best,
Kendy

Should not be better to keep all sub-items sticky opened?

Ciao

+1 I thought exactly the same when I saw that
