Select/copy content of a comment

How do I select and copy the content of a comment? When I open the comment and try to select its content, all I get is a hand to move the content around on the page.
(Eg, I've got a long URL in the comment that I want to copy and past into the browser.) The page on inserting and editing comments doesn't seem to address this function.
