Same from Portugal. I was just about making same statement.

Hi,
I asked Andras on IRC. He's updating Pootle and it's taking way longer
than expected, hence the lengthy downtime.
Stay tuned!

I was wondering, why my mail did not reach the list. I realized that I
sent my reply to Michael only.
Here it is:
Yes, the Pootle server is down at the moment. I installed a new check
for out PO files, the "Invalid XML". I mentioned it on this list on
the other day. But the check did not work on old strings, it just
worked on newly entered translations. I asked for help on #pootle irc
channel. They said that I had to clear the stats, then rebuild the
stats. I did that, but unfortunately Pootle started to do something
endlessly. Developers said it dropped its cache. I hope it will finish
after some time whatever it is doing. I'm sorry for the
inconveniences.
Next translation deadline is December 17 for 4.0 beta 2. I may need to
update templates sometimes in between.
Is the "Update from templates" function working?
Regards
Yes, it is working, but if all translators click to it at the same
time, it will bring Pootle down surely. So my take is to run update
from templates command one by one from the server. It takes a day to
update all languages. I don't know what happens, when the user update
from templates in a subfolder. Maybe only that subfolder gets updated.
It may make sense, when someone uploads a files, whose template has
been updated since the last download.
Best regards,
Andras
Thanks
