Many of us have seen this bug. The 'solution' is mysqlrepair pootle
pootle_app_permissionset. Then Pootle works OK for some time. Please
try again, and let me know. Thanks for reporting the bug.

Pootle devs know about this...

Yes, they know about this, they suggested the mysqlrepair hack, but
I'm not sure they are aware of that the bug is re-occurring from time
to time. Anyway, I keep this in mind until next time I talk to them.
