a) The extension in question doesn't use data from that site;
b) Of the dozen Australian companies whose stock symbols I know, it
provided the wrong data 100% of the time.
c) I don't know the OP (Chris's) use-case, but I suspect that neither
cut and paste, nor importing files,
are a viable option.
(For the financial forecasts I make, using Calc, it takes an hour per
forecast to transcribe data, plus the time it
takes to ensure that the right data went in the right place. The
problem that this extension is supposed to solve.)

Thanks all for your reply.
Looks like there's not much I/ we can do to fix this issue.
I think I'll just move to Numbers that comes free with Mac. There seems to
be some Apple script out there that apparently works without a hitch.

Source code is available from
https://github.com/madsailor/SMF-Extension/issues
(That is the issue page on GitHub.) I don't see any commits since March
of 2015, but a
couple of issues, with probable solutions, have been submitted since then.

If it relies on Yahoo Finance, it will break whenever Yahoo decides
that a downgrade in their offerings is vital, to ensure the continual
decline of their user base.
