Hi Per,
It looks like you did not use the latest lo-build.pot POT file. When
merged there are still some messages not translated. You can get the
updated lo-build-sv.po from here:
http://libreoffice.rs/tmp/lo-build-sv.po.bz2
I can prepare the patch and send it to libreoffice devel list after your
update.
Cheers,
Goran

Hi Goran,
Thank you for your help.
Please find the updated po below.
Hmm, I do not know how to merge these translations into the existing
lo-build-sv.po. You might find it at
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/build/plain/po/lo-build-sv.po
Note that it is very important to keep the comments above the translated
string. e.g. the
editeng/source/items/svxitems.src#RID_SVXITEMS_HORJUST_LEFT.string.text
--- cut ---
#:
editeng/source/items/svxitems.src#RID_SVXITEMS_HORJUST_LEFT.string.text
msgid "Align left"
msgstr ""
--- cut ---
The OOo build process uses the .sdf format internally. The comments are
important to convert .po into .sdf.
Does anyone know how to add translations without loosing the comments?
Alternatively, is it possible to send .po with the comments instead
of .mo?
Best Regards,
Petr
Hi Goran, Kami,
Sorry for my alittle rusty l10n-knowledge. Since Sun took over our Swedish translation process in 2008/2009 I've forgot most things.
I've merged the latest pot (afaik) with our po-file. It should be too 100% and also have the comments untouched.
Can you please push this into the git tree?

There are few fuzzy translation here. Is this intentional, or not.
For example the is a bit interesting:
Pixel
bildpunkt(er)
Of course if this and the others are the correct translations I can
unfuzzy it then commit.

Hi Kami,
They are very context-tied variations. They could be wrong, but they could also be correct. That's why we haven't unfuzzied them because we need to do a quality check in the software first.
Would it be possible to leave them as they are?
Thanks a lot!

I would be interested in asking the dumb questions and documenting the l10n processes for dummies.

Hi.
Is it possible to synchronize the Scandinavian effort on this matter?
Our languages is undeniably similar, so working together would be most
welcome.

The same goes for Norwegian, and probably Danish as well. The
translation is correct, but there's a uncertainty when it comes usage in
a context. It really boils down to whether we should use large or small
case for the first letter.

I'm sure we would be able to. I would do such a sync when both language teams have completed their both translations. We can then check each others translations.
I think this will be easier when we get a tool such as Pootle.
What do you think?
