[tdf-announce] LibreOffice 4.4, the most beautiful LibreOffice ever

I haven't taken a huge amount of notice of the detail in announcements
in the last couple of years but this one really stood out for me.

I really loved it.

The best part imo was from the 2nd sentence in the 3rd paragraph where
it describes some of the key or interesting advantages of the new
branch. For once i really feel drawn into using this branch right
from the start instead of waiting a bit.

Oh, i thought the start was really great to,o in showing the
significant advantages of the new branch. There is no hint of the
confusing word "stable" which we all seem to interpret differently
from each other and which might give people the wrong impression
anyway.

I know there is good reason to be proud of the Coverity score but i
know nothing about it and i doubt many other normal users know
anything about it either. Might have been nice to have an actual
figure but it wouldn't have meant anything to me anyway! So it's
handled beautifully briefly. Perfect imo.

So i really liked the whole announcement. All extremely positive and
helpful. It makes me feel proud to be involved even in the minor ways
i am and also makes me proud and smug to be using LibreOffice.

Does this announcement stand out for other people too or have they
been this good for a long time now?
