At least 1.3 billion CJK people do not have access to Telegram now - it is blocked in Mainland China.
It will be great if some of you guy use Wechat and we setup a wechat group.

WeChat is reported by the media for being confirmed to endanger users'
privacy. I don't encourge CJK people in other region to use WeChat.

Is other alternative instant messaging tool except WeChat you can use in
China? Such as Signal (https://signal.org/) or Matrix (https://matrix.org/),
or just IRC. We can have a IRC bridge set up to link between the Telegram
group and the IRC chat room.

I can use xmpp services. I remember tdf members have xmpp account If they require.
