tips for matching older translations

Hi *,

With the new .ui-files, quite some strings need translation that were
translated before.
Are there some magic tricks, best-practices, .. ?

Maybe the best is making use of Glade

thanks,

thanks,

Unfortunately no. And yes, until now, all previous dialogs were mapped
one to one to the new UI. My trick is to translate with a tool that has
Translation Memory-TM. Personally I loaded LO4.1 in Lokalize to fill the
translation memory and then translated 4.2 by approving almost all
suggestion the TM gave me. This is time consuming, but it saved me some
synapses.

Glade will help you to locate the dialog, but it can be boring to locate
it frequently in the folder tree.

Happy new year.
