Hi Milos
The migration of ahelp to extended tips for dialogs (ui file) is done.
We have carried the ETs of all languages, some languages had the Help
fully translated, other languages had'nt, so an English or empty
translation showed in weblate UI-master/ project.
From now on the dialogs extended tips are to be edited in the source code.
The ahelp with hid=".uno:command" and hid="HID_IN_CAPITAL_LETTERS" were
not touched. They will be addressed later - help welcome.
Hi,
In order to check correctness of translation of the extended tooltips it
would be nice to have a list of dialogs for which the tooltips have
already been transferred.
Actually the list of the dialogs are in the patches, some dialogs have
been touched by 2 or more patches (e.g. cui/ ). The list is quite long.

Now, if I want to check correctness of the translations, I just randomly
select a dialog to see if it has tooltips. I would like to do that in a
systematic way - a list might help here.
What would help even more is to display a dialog with translated strings
in glade. Is that possible? If yes, how to do that?
You can use Glade to see the extended tips and even correct them if they
are wrong. But use Glade 3.36 because older versions have bugs that
erases extended tips.
The ET can be seen in the Accessible-description field of the
Accessibility tab of the selected widget. Not every
accessible-description is filled and widgets to look at are those that
requires human intervention (selectors, entry boxes, radio buttons,
check boxes etc...).
Having filled existing ETs, the challenge now is to review them in the
UI, fill the missing ETs.
Kind regards
