Typography Toolbar

Is there any way to remove individual items from the typography toolbar? The
normal Customize Toolbars command doesn't list it. I'm using LibreOffice
4.3.3.2 on 64 bit Ubuntu 14.04 by the way.

There are two reasons I would like to trim it down.

The first, and most important, is that the Graphite implementation of
LibreOffice is incomplete - in itself not a big problem, but will cause a
system lockup if a feature like "name" is inadvertantly clicked.

The second is simply that I don't anticipate ever using some of the features
and would like to reclaim the space.

The Alternative Search toolbar is also missing from the Customize Toolbars
menu, but since that only has one item, isn't a big issue, although it would
be nice to just move that item on to the regular tool bar where the normal
search and replace are located.

Is this code I can hack myself? If so, where is it located?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm guessing that this is because they are both extensions.

I trust this helps.

Hi Frank
It sounds like it might be a good idea to contact the Extension's devs?

Are those Extensions under OpenSource licenses such as LGPL or MPL or
something like that? Is it maybe worth posting a "feature request" to
see if our devs can fix it? If it turns out to be judged as being an
"Easy Hack" that would help any new devs wanting something to practice
on and get feedback about. maybe good to post a feature request to
help make it easier to fully integrate such Extensions into the proper
LibreOffice system more fully so that the toolbars can be edited in
the same way as proper LO toolbars?

It might be a good idea to contact the devs to see which of those
ideas is more plausible or see if they have better ideas. Be aware
that devs do not always have a great reputation for being
people-friendly and many of the best devs can often seem quite abrupt
= so if they seem rude try not to take offence as they probably didn't
mean to cause any.
