ubuntu problem

Hi,

I wonder whether any of the ubuntu users have an input on this thread in LQ.

Basically, calc is experiencing difficulties in LO but all is fine in OOo. I am sure I have heard mentions of GTK problems before on this forum.

Under Ubuntu 16.04 I just checked some ods and xlsx. They opened lo 5.1.4.2 (the present version in Ubuntu) without problem.

No problem with Xubuntu 16.04. I use Xubuntu 16.04. I can open freely and well spreadsheet in Calc without problems (I just installed an extension to read financial market data from yahoo and this slows down, but doesn't freezes the software - maybe some elements or forms or macro can have that effect).
