Updating against templates

Is anyone else getting "Error while updating translation project against latest templates."?

Still getting it. I actually got Error 500 from the entire site earlier today too.

Because there have been no new strings in 4.4 and since it has happened before that there WERE new strings and the simply weren't coming through, I thought I'd 'check'

Over and over we have stated that this can lead to intermixed translations and thus people should not use it.

Well, it's news to me. Perhaps we should change the wording on the Check against templates button to 'Don't use this button'

So unless you at least state the project and language and reason for running it, I don't want to spend time on that.

Perhaps we should just hide or disable that button if it just messes up
the translation instead of doing what it claims to? :slight_smile:

But is there any new strings or not? If the answer is yes and new strings
exist, I think you could (not should) spend some time
