Using Custom Slide Shows

Hi,

in the Manual I red that that one can create more, than one custom
slide show in one presentation.

Now, I'm asking that that can one uses these custom slide shows
sequentially to show these custom slide shows one after another when
running the whole presentation?

Apparently not. But that's no particular limitation, as you can easily create an additional custom slide show which consists merely of the same slides as used in the original custom shows - in the appropriate order.

You can do this slightly more easily than creating the entire new list of slides from scratch:
o In the Custom Slide Shows dialogue, select one of the existing custom shows - probably, sensibly, the longest.
o Click Copy.
o Click Edit... .
o Rename the new custom show and add the other necessary slides in the appropriate places.

I trust this helps.

Hello Brian,

Apparently not. But that's no particular limitation, as you can easily create an additional custom slide show which consists merely of the same slides as used in the original custom shows - in the appropriate order.

So practically more than one custom slide shows in a presentation are
only there to determine before running the presentation which custom
slide show to show at time?

That's how I read it: you can have a library of slides on your favourite topic and can select the particular sets (and orders) that you wish to present on particular occasions.
