Version 10.6.8

I"m still using Snow Leopard as my favourite program wasn't updated for the Mac. I've read the requirements for LibreOfice and it states that it is for Snow Leopard and up. But I've downloaded it and when I try to open the app I get the message that it is for 10.7 and up. I downloaded it again with the same results. What to do?

Thanks,
Vivian Lynes

Hi
Which version of LibreOffice are you using? Is there soem "gate barrier"
or something on Macs to prevent any software being installed unless it was
from their own repositories/store?

You might have downloaded the 64bit version of LO for Mac OSX by
mistake. You need to make sure that you download the 32bit version of
LibreOffice instead, which should run on OX 10.6.8
