Hi folks,

Just wanted to let you know. Theres seems to be a bug in how Pootle exports localized .php files, so if you try to download such file from the website project, it will likely be a bit buggy. Don't be upset and keep working on them though – your translations are in Pootle, and I'll probably export and edit them manually and send them to Christian in a few days. I've filed this bug with Pootle.

I've just noticed that Breton doesn't have a native-language website. This means that your translation will not be visible anywhere...

Is it complicated (and long) to translate the LibreOffice site ? I have not been able to find the instructions to do it.
I 'm a Windows user (sorry ;)), is it a problem to do the translation ?

you don't have to _translate_ the website. If you want br.libreoffice.org and have some spare time to maintain it, you can have it, and it doesn't have to be an exact copy of www.libreoffice.org or fr.libreoffice.org. It can be as small as just a few pages or as large as you can make it. And whether you use Windows, Linux, Mac OS X or Amiga, is basically irrelevant cause all you need is an Internet connection and a browser.

Please refer to http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/NewWebsiteNLT about how to have it set up for you.

Not that it matters, really, but I notice that the link to gd isn't on the Turkish links page - shouldn't those be "automated" the same way the downloads are to save locales to check for random new languages?

We should really document stuff better, and everyone can help with that. :wink: But until it's done, one possibility is to look at how an appropriate page is implemented in the Main website, which you should be able to choose in Silverstripe's admin interface (there's a drop-down at the top-right).

Hi again,

just wanted to let you know – I recreated the project as one using .po
files. This will work much smoother. I believe that the only loss of
this conversion is a single German suggestion that wasn't approved yet.
In case there are other problems or losses, my apologies...

Hi,

@Michael, i think you are talking about the International Sites
section of tr. gd.libreoffice.org is not there, as you know, i
manually edited that page and it is already outdated.

@Rimas, i will look for it if you provide me a how to page or tips.
But thats my shame still not concantrating on the website mailinin
lists.

$SubsiteList has an inherent oddity though, a bit like the Download part which appeared in English. Seeing we've just added that to Pootle, plus the faqs, shouldn't we add the language names list (the 3rd column on the right) as well?

I didn't look at the code. I just guessed the (IMO) most likely scenario.
