To Users: I belong to a computer club, and today we had a presentation on WIN 10 and how much of a headache it really is to install, even for professionals. I would like to know what version of LibreOffice has even a chance to work with WIN 10???
I wonder, why would you use Libre Office with Windows 10? If you are so
keen on Microsoft, I would suggest using Microsoft Office with Windows 10
(provided you ever managed to make it work), so you will have no need to be
asking silly questions.

I installed libreoffice on my sons w10 and my wifes w10 machine
without any problem.
Sorry, but questions are never silly (although answers might be silly). LibreOffice 5.0.x works with Windows 10, with all the known issues of brand new Microsoft operating systems (before a service pack). Please remember that around 90% of LibreOffice users are Windows users, and deserve the same respect of every other user.

The latest version of LibreOffice works in W10.
All LibreOffice versions run in Win10, since the first "LibreOffice 3.3.4 "
up to Master, without the need for set up any kind of compatibility.
I have more than a dozen installed, usually the people issues are about
rights on the system, but running the install file as administrator should
solve them.

what?? lol
