André

Of course lang teams can still bypass Pootle?

Will lo-build.po be included into sdf in the long run?

Lp, m.

Hi André

Hi all,

short update - server is ready for testing at
   http://pootle.documentfoundation.org/

you may register yourself, but need to ask here for admin or language
admistration permission.

Could you give me the rights for FR language please. Thanks in advance

Kind regards
Sophie

Hi,

Von: Martin Srebotnjak <miles@filmsi.net>

Of course lang teams can still bypass Pootle?

Yes .. tools like pootle should be there to help with your work and not
to bug everyone who is happy with direct git commits.

But we need to think how we coordinate this.

Will lo-build.po be included into sdf in the long run?

I think so - yes.

André

Hi André,

Please give my user (timar) admin permissions for hu.

Thanks,
Andras

Hi,

Hi,

just 2 small issues:
Can we have Brazilian Portuguese as language for LibreOffice

done. Problem here is that pootle uses pt_BR as langcode, but our filesystem has pt-BR ... we need to think about this in the future.

Pootle 2.1.2 has relaxed the rules for language codes.
Alternatively, you can edit the database manually or patch local_apps/pootle_app/admin.py by commenting out the topmost IF-statement:
#if not self.cleaned_data['code'] == 'templates' and not langcode_re.match(self.cleaned_data['code']):
# raise forms.ValidationError(_('Language code does not follow the ISO convention'))
you can then add the languages to the list and undo your edits.

Hi André,

please make me (rq) an admin of Lithuanian on Pootle.

Thanks!
Rimas

Pootle 2.1.2 has relaxed the rules for language codes.

We are using 2.1.2. But I used
   manage.py update_translation_projects
to get the languages and files for LibO 3.3 translation. It sound somehow
stupid to me, to add languages manually, just because we do not
conform to some standards. I'd rather focus on using the standards
what will make our live easiere at the end.

But ...

Alternatively, you can edit the database manually or patch
local_apps/pootle_app/admin.py by commenting out the topmost IF-statement:
#if not self.cleaned_data['code'] == 'templates' and not
langcode_re.match(self.cleaned_data['code']):
# raise forms.ValidationError(_('Language code does not follow the ISO

you can then add the languages to the list and undo your edits.

nice hint - will try this on another test instalaltion

André

Done, thank you and BrOffice very much.

Now, please, can you give my user (Xuacu) admin permission for Asturian
(ast) language?

Best regards.

Hi André,

Please make me (jamil) the administrator of Bengali (bn) on Pootle.

Cheers,
-Jamil

We only have the lo-build.po files at the server for the moment - and
these are not the latest files (checkout from yesterday).
So it's really just for testing!

Po files and user accounts might be deleted within the nexts week (but I
think, we can at least leave the user accounts in place).

So - if you want to have a look, please register a user and test

I logged in and tested a while, presently it seems to work well, but it's
necessary to test it during heavy use and a lot of concurrent connections.

Ciao

Cool! Please give me (Aidsoid) the admin/language admistration permissions
on Pootle. Russian (ru).

Helen already has adminstrator privileges for russian and should be able to grant you premissions.

Would be good to test, if the theory works
